The Logistic Officer will be involved in the overall day-to-day management of the division this includes supervision of registry's work, office support, procurement, maintenance of inventory, handling of supplies, works and services, he will also provide the inventory, organization, and careful supervise the transport of the materials and resources needed by Medical Scientific Division.

1. Responsible for the development of logistical plans, policies and procedure necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services.

2.Recommends and coordinates the logistics support structure to perform the logistic functions of the project.

3.Responsible for the procurement, storage, accounting and maintenance of equipment and materials to support the operations.

4.Responsible for the control and maintenance of facilities controlled or used which would include office facilities, training facilities, storage facilities etc.

5.Responsible in specific activities will includes implementing a logistic system to support the project; developing and implementing a local procurement system for equipment, supplies and services to support activities; defining and arranging all necessary measures to international procurement plan for equipment, supplies and services.

6.Developing and implementing an equipment management and accounting system for all equipment.

7.Developing and implementing a repair and maintenance system for all equipment.

8.Coordinates and interface between logistics function such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost effective support to the customer.

9.Troubleshoot problem areas in logistic and coordinates problem resolution or recommends solution to management.

10.Coordinates with customer to ensure desired logistic objective, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.

11.Analyzes work processes and develops metrics for measurement of performance, demand of supplies and forecast for future needs.

12.Assist in the inspection, shipping, handling, and packaging of supplies and equipment.

13.Direct personnel who receive inventory and issue supplies and equipment.

14.Evaluate bids and proposals submitted by potential suppliers and/or customers.

15.Determine the fastest, most economic way to transport cargo.

16.Oversee the handling of special items, such as medical equipments.

17.Attend divisional meetings.

18.Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
